Ludovica Galeazzo

Ludovica Galeazzo is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Università Iuav di Venezia where she is working on the project Venice, the Jews and Europe, a study developed on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of the establishment of the Venice Ghetto.  Galeazzo graduated from the Università Iuav di Venezia in Architecture with honors in 2010 with a thesis on Montepulciano and city museums in small towns. She earned a Ph.D. in History of Arts at the Scuola dottorale inter-ateneo Ca’ Foscari-Iuav with a dissertation on the development of the insula of Gesuiti in Venice from the second half of the 15th century to the end of the Venetian Republic. Galeazzo has been a researcher with Visualizing Venice since 2010 and has worked on the Accademia and on the Water and Food projects.
